This investment, with a capacity of 22 megawatts and a value of 10m euros, will be realised by companies Esha Energy and Mdynamic Solutions, with investors Bekim Shyti and Arten Bayrushi.
Chairman Idrizi stressed that the project is part of his vision of a modern, developed and green volcano:
This is a concrete step towards sustainable economic development. Solar parks will open new jobs, bring clean energy and make our municipality an example at the level of green investment,” Idrizi said.
The Vushtrri municipality has offered full support for the implementation of this project, which is expected to be completed in several phases and contribute to local capacity of renewable energy production.
