KA LLXO.com has tried to get an answer from the Pristina Constitutional Court, but the Court has not yet returned the response.

With 10.10.2025, the Pristina Court has assigned the month-long detention measure to indictee Fatmir Sheholli, suspected spying.

Through an announcement dated 10,10.2025, the Court has indicated that it has approved the Prosecution's request for the appointment of the detention measure to Shehlo.

“Court estimates that the appointment of the detention measure to this criminal case is adequate because if the defendant is left in freedom, there is a risk of running away, he can avoid criminal procedure and that the same will be elusive for justice organs, since the same is suspected of criminal acts of very high risk, respectively for the work of prosecution” was said in the Court's announcement of 10,2025.

Fatmir Shehol was arrested in 09.10.2025 under spying allegations.

Prosecution File

Sheholli is suspected to have acted on instructions from Serbian BIA senior official Bojan Dimic.

The Special Prosecutor's File reports that Shehlo was recruited by BIA and provided continued assistance to this foreign service, by collecting data, information and documents related to some property <x0kins seized by the Serb community in Kosovo, and also in terms of business activities, as well as the state and function of Kosovo institutions.

Sheholli's tasks under the Special Prosecutor were to collect information and distribute them to online media in Kosovo.

The file also states that Shehlo was under investigation by the Prosecution since August 2017, and for a time he was also on physical wiretapping.

In direct surveillance according to the prosecutor's file, a scheme has also been uncovered where Sheholli has accepted information from BIA, which were later published in the Kosovo media.

This data then, according to the Special Prosecutor, was allegedly forwarded to BIA senior official through phone communications.

At 07.10.2025, KALLXO.com published research into a file of the Kosovar Intelligence Agency that had been handed over to the Special Prosecutor in mid-2024, while also mentioning Fatmir Sheholli.

The file spoke of doubts about how about 2m euros of the special AKI fund were spent by three directors of this institution, Driton Gashi, Shpend Maxhu and Kressnik Gashi in the period 2017- 2020.

The inspection report, says former director Driton Gashi from the Special Operation Fund had spent over 1m euros, of which 500 thousand euros were not known who had accepted them. But, for another 500,000, AKI Chief Inspector Cameron Shala had confirmed that they had been admitted by Fatmir Sheholli, now arrested as spying suspect.

Fatmir Sheholli, is a well-known figure in Kosovo that had often participated in television shows in Kosovo, and was also mentioned in the Assembly Speaker by incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

“Vec did not meet Fatmir Shehol, unless you stay with Fatmir Shehol, associate of Serbia”, had declared Albin Kurti, currently in office, in 03.11.23, while debating with PDK deputy Hysen Berisha.

Former AKI chief Driton Gashi, in 9 cases reportedly handed them over to Fatmir Sheholli over 500,000 euros.
