The eye of OVL- KLA: We're afraid the final decision will be political

The Kosovo Liberation Army Veterans' Organisation (OVL-UÇK) has reacted sharply to the decision of Specialised Chambers in The Hague, which have rejected most of the evidence that documents crimes committed by Serbian forces during the war in Kosovo. O Deputy Chairman VL-KLA, Gazmend Syla, described this decision as unfair and unacceptable, stressing that the tribunal has deviated from its mission and is judging unilaterally only KLA members.
“OVL has always been at odds since this court was spoken of as being established because it investigates these injustices that are taking place today. I don't remember us as Kosovo society, nor as a veteran who existed somewhere in a court that has judged only an entity in this case. The CK, or only Albanians, does not take into account the evidence it sends to the case the protection of indictees for crimes that have occurred from Serbia, from Serb military forces, so this is unacceptable for us. That is a reason why we were forced to stand and market these injustices of all international but Albanian opinion. You see, in recent protests there is an extraordinary mobilization happening because citizens themselves have seen this court deviate from its mission. Initially this court was founded on the basis of a report that was then Senator Dick Marty's report. That report no longer exists in the indictment and has lost the reason why it was founded, so it has come up with something quite different where it ends up with some witnesses who say they may have been damaged by the KLA during the war with a cow and other things that are unacceptable to us”, Say Syla for EO.
Syla said this court was founded on an already peaceful report by Senator Dick Marty, while stressing that OVL- The KLA and citizens are determined to protest these injustices.
“We invite all the Albanian people wherever they are, especially we as KLA soldiers are always ready to get together and raise our voices because a major injustice is taking place in modern times. A court that judges an ethnicity, in this case Kosovo's liberation war, is unilaterally unacceptable. It should not be unacceptable only to our people but also to the international factor. The Special Court has to take into account is the political court, even at the time it was established as the political influence of the International Community and its establishment, which we have proved only that we are willing to face any international justice, not just in this case, but in past cases, Kosovo is an example of confronting international justice. We as an organization think it's political, it's still political, we're afraid that even the final decision will be political in relation to our fellow fighters who are accused there. We don't expect that this court will issue justice, all the activity we do with protests and meetings, and we do it in the spirit of this with worry, because we fear the final decision, so we don't believe it has had justice at all, because if there were any, as soon as Dick Marty's report is not part of the indictment, this court shouldn't have continued work today”, he added.
He also stressed that the organisation has no confidence that the final decision will be fair, naming the whole process political.
“The main message we have in protest is "Not in my name," telling this court that you can't decide on my name, you don't have the legitimacy to put in my name because people are saying otherwise” /Periscope/
