At the Kosovo Democratic Institute, going to extraordinary elections hurts the state budget until it lets it know that only for the February 9th and local parliamentary elections were spent millions of euros.
The February 9th elections alone cost around 9m euros to the state budget. Also the October 12th local elections of over 6m euros. So only within this year in a short period of time have some 15m euros been spent. The tendency to move to extraordinary elections damages the” budget. An additional 9m euros would cost the budget these elections”, Volnet Bukakaku from the Democratic Institute said.
And frequent elections seem to have become difficult for citizens who say the same are harmful to the country and therefore are pursuing their own lives, Periscope.
“Normal, which is very damaging to the country. It's to the detriment of the citizens that the choice has come to our nose, choice... ”, said a citizen.
There's a lot of budget damage going on. We need no choice. This money has to be invested somewhere else.”
There are also citizens who, while seeing frequent elections harmful, say they must be held whenever the country faces institutional crisis. ”
These things are very damaging to the economy, but when you don't get away you have to keep”
The frequent hold of elections within a year harms the country's economy, and not only, recognises economy connoisseur Lulzim Beqiri. /rtv21/
