Former EU official acquitted of corruption charges

The Thummeral Court in Pristina has declared a free trial against former European Union official Albina Nura over the corruption charge.
In this case, former EU official Albina Nura was accused of causing damage to the EU budget of 500 thousand euros, with what he committed the criminal work of “The use of official position or authority” and “Conflict of interest”, reports “The Law Vow”.
The trial against Nura was announced Wednesday by the chairman of the court, Valon Kurtay, with members Lutfi Shala and Confrontation Shytin.

Under the decision, the accused was acquitted of “Using official office” and “Conflict of interest” after it was not proven to have committed the criminal acts it was charged with.
Presentations in the declaration were accused by Nura with lawyer Kadri Medici, as well as representative of the damaged-Lair Syla side. In the meantime, no one introduced anyone from the Special Prosecutor. On the occasion of his release from the prosecution, Nora from her emotions began to cry.
The damaged panel is directed at regular law-civilal disputes. Meanwhile, the disgruntled side has the right to a complaint in the 30-day term after taking the written-shaped bias.
