Turkish President Reccep Tayip Erdogan has hosted an official ceremony to Germany's Chancellor, Friedrich Merz, who is visiting Turkey.
Erdogan and Merz later continued at a bilateral meeting, after which they went to the media conference.
It becomes known that the Turkish president sharply criticised Germany for what he called ignorance of “the genocide”, hunger and Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Erdogan said Israel had nuclear weapons and other weapons he was threatening Gaza with, adding that the Palestinian militant group Hamas had none of them.
There are no bombs, no nuclear weapons. All these weapons are in the hands of Israel”, Erdogan said, broadcast the telegraph.
He claimed that Israel had again attacked Gaza in recent days despite a ceasefire in enclaves.
