Andrew, 65, Charles's younger brother and the second son of the late Queen Elizabeth, has faced increasing pressure on his behaviour and ties with Epstein, and earlier this month was forced to stop using the title “Duka of York. ”
Charles has now escalated his action on Andrew by removing all his titles, letting him be known only as Andrew. Mountbatten Windsor, reports Reuters.
The statement of Buckingham Palace says Andrew has already been given an official announcement to hand over the rent of his residence. Royal Log to the Windsor property, west of London, and that he will be moved to an alternative private residence east of England.
Palace says thoughts are with victims of abuse
“These punitive measures are considered necessary, despite the fact that he continues to deny charges against him,” said the palace.
