Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, after the Assembly session, said the party he heads would not accept the mandate for forming the government, stressing that elections are the only solution.
The Kosovo Democratic Party will not accept the mandate for forming the government. Without delay, procedures must be consumed in order to go to the elections,” Krasniqi said.
The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, who at the session said the country is heading towards new elections.
MP Nenad Raspic, in an interview for “Face” in Telegrafi, said extraordinary elections could be held at the end of January or early February of next year.
Rassic added that if the election scenario becomes inevitable, they could be held in late January or early February of next year. There are two variants either by mid-December or early February. But, the real thing is that elections will be organised in late January or early February”, he said.
Meanwhile, lawyer Ardian Bayraktari in a statement for RTV Duagjini has stressed that, constitutional and procedurally, the most likely deadline for holding extraordinary parliamentary elections would be mid-December. /Periscopi/
