Kosovo's national will play tonight's travel to Sweden, with the match played under the qualifications for the 2026 World Cup.
The match will start from 20:45 and will be played at the “Nya Ullavi” stadium, writes “Gazeta Express”.
The judge of this match will be Dutch, Danny Makkelie, one of the best judges in European football and not only.
This will be the fourth time this judge will share justice in a Kosovo match, as he had earlier conducted the match in three cases.
The first time came in 2019, with Makkelie addressing Kosovo's challenge to the Czech Republic in “Fadil Vokri” in Pristina, the match that “Dards” won 2-1.
The second match came in 2020, when Kosovo played in the semi-finals play-off of the League of Nations for Infrastructuring in EURO 2020 towards North Macedonia. Kosovo was defeated 2-1.
The third match Makkelie led Kosovo to is that of Romania in 2023, which belonged to qualifications for EURO 2024.
The match was played at “Fadil Vokri” and closed without goals.
Thus, Danny Makkelie has led three Kosovo matches so far, where “Dars” have achieved a victory, one draw and have suffered a defeat.
