Customs handles drugs, ammunition and hours “Rolex”

Over the past weekend, Kosovo Customs has conducted a series of checks at various border points in the country, which have resulted in sequencing undeclared goods, narcotics and ammunition.

Operations have been conducted in co-operation with the Border Police and investigative units, aiming to prevent illegal activities on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

At the Elez Khan Border Point, customs officials have banned an international transport that was passing through the transit and discovered some 180kg of undeclared textile material.

“This case clearly shows our efforts to prevent customs evasion that harm the local economy,” said a representative of Kosovo Customs, followed. Periscope.

During routine raids at Pristina International Airport, two hours of luxury brand “Rolex” have been seized, which had not been declared in line with customs regulations.

On another occasion, close to 100 undeclared pairs of shoes have been found, without relevant documentation.

Also, during the second line check, a box of 50 rounds of a 9mm calibre hidden under the vehicle's spare tire and a cigarette filled with suspected marijuana substance (0.58 grams).
