The incumbent Kosovo government on Friday approved the draft budget for 2026.
According to Eugen Cakoli from the Democratic Institute of Kosovo (confronted the Law on Government and with the constitutional principles of institutional functioning.
“Nated by the aspect of the Law on Government, we are dealing with a deliberate misinterpretation”, Cakolli said at KTV.
He stressed that Article 31 of this law clearly stipulates restrictions for governments in resignations, including the ban on adopting bills or sending the budget to the Assembly.
These restrictions apply to the government in office, but not to exceptions. So this decision is illegal both from legal and constitutional terms”, he added.
