At the Centre for Counting and Results (QNR), the Central Election Commission has begun the process of counting votes belonging outside Kosovo for Local Elections for Speakers of the Communities and Communist Places.
These ballots belong to the voting process outside Kosovo, carried out via mail from 17 September to 11 October 2025, which were withdrawn on 13 October and 14 October from the CEC mailbox in 22 different states, as well as from the CEC postbox in Kosovo.
The number of supposed ballot packages approved by the CEC is over 29,600.
“From these 23 mailbox boxes, 33,841 alleged ballot packages have been attracted to the evaluation process. The assessment aims to prove that the package was sent by registered voters to vote from outside Kosovo. From the data we have from the voting service, the number of alleged ballot packages that have been approved is 29,636, meanwhile, have been refused 3,977. The most obvious reason why these packages have been rejected, in 3,660 cases, lack of registration policy, a document with unique data, which the registered voter accepts by the CEC”, Elesi said, reports EO, broadcast Periscope.
Elez has also shown progress at the Municipal Counting Centres in various Kosovo municipalities.
According to the CEC, by Friday at 4: 00 p.m. activities at the QKN have been closed in 30 municipalities: Hani of Elez (Money), Junik, Mamusa, Zvecan, Raillug, Partesh (Fah), North Mitrovica (Hunin), Zubin Potok, Decani, Shkne, Shtrpce, Obilic, Istog, Skennderaj (Moan), Vita, Rahovec, Suhareka, Dragash, Kacanic, Lipjan, Fereza, Ferez, Kamica, Drena, Drenas, Vushtov), Gjaska, Gracica, South Mitrovica, and Podovo (mona Friday).
According to information from the Municipal Counting Center, by 1: 00 p.m. this day, Friday, the results of 2,303 seats have been verified from the Communists' elections and the results for political subjects from the parliamentary elections from 2,308 countries. Of as many options, 2,308, votes from the candidates' elections for the Communist Empire have been counted. So, so far, out of 5,142 ballot boxes belonging to two types of elections, 4,6111x1> has been processed, Elez said. /Periscope
