CEC expected to decide on second round election campaign, voting outside Kosovo, election monitors

Today, starting at 11:00, the Central Election Commission will hold the next meeting and the main point in the agenda will be the adoption of the task plan for organising the second round of elections for mayors.
This news was confirmed Friday morning by CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi.
Among those activities for which the CEC will decide are the time of the election campaign for political subjects and candidates competing in the second round, which will be held on November 9th 2025.

Also, the CEC will decide on the period of application and confirmation of observers of competitive political subjects, as well as on confirming media observers, NGOs, diplomatic representations, etc.
So far, according to non-final results, the second round of elections will be organised in 18 municipalities: Gjakova, Gjilan, Dragash, Kacanik, Kline, Fushe Kosovo, South Mitrovica, Obilic, Rahovec, Peja, Pristina, Prizren, Suhareka, Year, Vushtrri, Yunik, Mamusa and Klokot.
