A severe case occurred in Mingachevir, Azerbaijan, where a nShe ended her life after her husband's family criticised her bride's dress as too many spies and provocations.
Lyaman Mammadli, 19, was accused of looking "lacky" after her shoulders were left undiscovered.
Her father, Murad Bayramov, said she was shocked by the criticism and took her life in the garden of her family's home.
He denied that his daughter may have felt obliged to marry a older man, Elnur Mamedli, 33.
It becomes known that her new husband went to the funeral, but the concerned father said that “refused to let him stay” and “took out”.
Police are investigating the case if a criminal case should be initiated for “by the bride's” before her tragic death. /Periscopi/
