Asambrist votes: CEC reports that after three municipalities, counting continues to 35 more

CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi at a news conference said that last night at 2 000 and 571 regular locations, the process of counting votes of candidates for mayors and votes of political subjects has been completed by the Elections for Municipal Places.

According to Elez, after counting and other procedures ended, election materials from 948 Voting centres have been withdrawn and sent to 38 Municipal Counting Centres.

“So, under the Law for General Elections, in the Local Elections the numbering of votes of the candidates for the mayors of municipalities and votes of political subjects for the Communist Assembly takes place after the outcome of the vote, which are identified in forms. Meanwhile, under the same law, the votes of candidates for members of the Municipal Assembly are counted at the Municipal Counting Centre, which will be realised through counting teams”, he said.

Regarding the vote count of asmblists, he announced that after three municipalities, the count continues in another 35.

In addition to counting the votes of candidates for members of the Municipal Framework, in these centres, according to the CEC Selector for the Municipal Counting Centres, there will be a verification of results from the forms that have been completed at the resort after counting out”.
