In the protest in Tirana, in support of former KLA leaders being tried by the Special Court in The Hague, Moisiu has said the rally is aimed at protecting national dignity and raising a voice against the injustices being committed to former KLA leaders.
“in 2022, we were in The Hague in detention rooms to meet with President Thaci personally with Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veselin and Rexhep Selimi. At the meeting with these men I realized and saw that these brave ones were not afraid, but there are strong men who stand and willing to sacrifice to clean up the war of the KLA and all the Kosovo people, out of stains that are unjustly trying to give what is not to the Albanians. They have not committed crimes, but have done the highest job known to contemporary history of the liberation of Kosovo and the protection of its people”, Moisiu has said.
He has added that former KLA leaders are being held without evidence in custody.
He stressed that it is time to stop silent.
Kosovo's “Freedom is not a gift. It was won by blood of sacrifice and determination today, more than ever, we must be determined and united to protect the future of our nation”, he said. /Periscopi/
