Ahmeti reacts after Fatos Nano's death: My Hard Hours Friend

Through a Facebook post, Ahmeti has said that he has received the news with great pain, describing Nano as a friend and associate in times of challenge.

Deeply in pain, I got the news of my old friend, my hard-hour friend, Fatos Nano.

Our friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect were linked to times of challenge when ideals for freedom, democracy, and development were our common guides.

Fatos was a man of vision, courage and political wisdom, a personality that left a lasting impression on Albania's modern history.

In these moments of pain, I express my heartfelt condolences for my family, friends, and all who loved him.

May my friend Fatos Nano rest in peace. His memory will always remain alive”, Ahmeti wrote.
