17 municipalities elect mayors with first, 19 go to runoff

Today the first round of local elections has been held in Kosovo, where of 38 municipalities, 17 municipalities have elected their mayor in the first round. Without a run-off, citizens of four northern municipalities have managed to elect their mayors in the first round, but also in other Serb-run municipalities.
While in the run-off, the ballot boxes will be directed to the citizens of South Mitrovica, Pristina, Vushtrri, Gjakova, Gjilan, Dragas, Kacanik, Kline, Fushe Kosova, Obliqi, Rahovec, Peja, Prizren, Suhareka, Vitia, Yunik, Klokot.
In contrast, municipalities that arrived in the first round to elect Albanian mayors are Podujevo, Ferizaj, Skenderaj, Hani of Elez, Istog, Lipjan, Zoom, Kamenica and Decani. /Periscopi/
