“Friedberger Allgemine” wrote on Monday about a 14-year-old confession showing extraordinary courage.
The 14-year-old was standing in the school yard with his two friends when a teenager approached him. He was carrying a hammer and was wearing a military uniform.
I thought it was the tire and they were trying to make fun of me”, he confessed 14-year-old. But what happened then was no joke. And if he didn't run for his friend's help and risk his life, things would be even worse.
The attack has shocked Friedberg in Germany in mid-October. A 15-year-old had attacked two 14-year-olds shortly before learning began, hurting one of them severely. The attacker is on charges of attempted murder and serious injury. Investigators are gathering information if it's an extremist background.
What happened?
The striker had hit one of Lenny's friends in the head. When he attacked Len, the 14-year-old managed to avoid and was hit by only his arm. A third had fled to the entrance of the school. I saw my friend lying on the ground”, Lenny said.
Then the assailant struck him several times.
I thought I couldn't just leave”, and Lenny confessed that he went towards the attackers and first hit him on foot and then managed to get the hammer and hit him in the stomach and knock him down.
After that, Lenny and his friend managed to go to school. The attacker had shot their way with a non-real weapon. Lenny's friend was hurt in the head and needed help as they left. At the school door, two teachers quickly called the police and the ambulance. Emergency services were presented quickly, and the assailant was arrested. The 15-year-old was past with threats and is also being investigated for the possibility of extremism.
Lenny made a statement to the police. He has also denied comments at TikTok that the assailant has been locked up, saying he only recognized him as a figure. He has even said that if the attacker were a foreigner, his comments would be different.
Lenny now remembers the occasion and realizes how dangerous he is. The suspect had a knife with him.
Today, he was invited to a meeting by Mayor Roland Eichman.
