The State Chief Prosecutor's Office has indicated that for local elections in the Republic of Kosovo, which are held today on October 12th 2025, all necessary preparations have been made to realise the protection of the free vote of citizens, guaranteeing the integrity of the election process.
According to a media report, it becomes known that about 100 state prosecutors and prosecutorial system officials are engaged in these elections, which will remain stewards throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, until the end of the election process, in order to prosecute any irregularities that could occur in this year's local elections.
“State Prosecutor invites citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, all political subjects, institutions or various organisations, to report to the relevant prosecutors, each case, in which they have doubts that voting is being misused or manipulated in any way, and by whoever is”, the report says. /Periscopi/
