“We announce that following the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo for special investigative access to witness statement William Walker, the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department is holding the session for special investigative possibilities for receiving witness statement William Walker, who has to do with war crimes”, has told Telegraphy, Basic Court's spokeswoman in Pristina, Mirlinda Gashi.

Walker was the head of O'S verifering mission. The SEU in Kosovo in 1998-99. He had a key role in exposing Recak's Massacre in Zoom around the world.
On January 16, 1999, Walker visited the site of the event, where 45 Albanian civilians were executed in one day. He had named the crime work against humanity and accused Serbian forces.
The statement has prompted strong international reactions.
Two Serbs have now been sentenced for this massacre, but no one is serving imprisonment one is on the run and the other has been sentenced in absentia.
