Chief of Firemen and Emergency Medical Services of the Columbia District, John Donnelli, said he doesn't believe there are survivors of the crash that occurred between a plane and a helicopter in Washington.
At a media conference, he has stressed that despite the efforts of the search-saving groups, they are now switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation.
“We don't believe that there are any survivors of this” accident, he says.
He adds that his teams have pulled 27 troops out of the plane and one out of the helicopter, writes BBC, broadcast Clankosova.
