“Because in these difficult political times, it has become clear who is willing to work and fight, who is not, and given that, I expect more than 50 per cent of the ministers to be fired and replaced in a very, very urgent 48x1>, Vuciq said on January 27th.
He has stressed that in the past three months, following the accident at the railway station in Novi Sad, in which 15 people have died has created an atmosphere that is not good for anyone.
“in these three months, we have heard many charges against state troops, calls for overthrowing the state, heard very irresponsible statements, not only from the opposition, but also from us in power”, he said.
The Serbian president has indicated that he has talked with government representatives and that they “have stated they are willing to listen to the other” [the students protesting] and that they want dialogue and conversation.
Vuciq has said that further publication of the documentation for reconstruction of the railway station in Novi Sad is under way, and that, according to him, all the requests of students protesting have been met.
“Today we have only published some, and the publication of 925 documents is under way from”, Vuciq said in an address to the public.
We've offered everything. There is no document dealing with reconstruction of the” railway station, Vuciq added.
Speaking of the students' request for prosecution of those responsible for the attacks on students, Vucic has indicated they have initiated criminal proceedings against 37 individuals.
As for the involvement of government officials in the attacks, Vucic says the “exists only one case in new Belgrade” and believes “tam has been resolved”.
Vuciq, Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vuchevic and Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabiq have addressed the public on the day when students organised 24-hour blockades at one of Belgrade's main traffic points. /REL/
