Three men, aged 27, 38 and 42, have been arrested in Han, Elez, under suspicion of committing serious theft at the customs terminal in this area during November last year.
According to police, suspects have stolen metal parts containing copper content.
“On the date 25,11,2024, around 23:30, the Han-Elez station police have accepted information on a serious theft case at the customs terminal in the area. After arriving at the scene, police investigators, under state prosecutor's authorisation, conducted the necessary examinations. Initial investigations revealed that unknown persons, with the aim of illegal property, had forcibly infiltrated one of the objects of the customs terminal, stealing metal pieces with copper content”, the police report said.
After intensive investigative work, today, dated 09.01.2025, police have been able to identify and arrest three people suspected of this criminal offence. After the interview, with the State Attorney's decision, they were detained for 48 hours. Arrested persons: A.R. (M/K), 42, R.R. (M/K), 27, I.L. (M/K), 38x4>.
Meanwhile, according to police, the N.L. person, suspected of criminal activity “Blerja, acceptance or hiding items used to do criminal work,” has been released and followed in regular procedure.
