Training, as it was said, has to do with improving KSF operational capacities.
The Kosovo Security Force's statement (FSK) says the training was conducted in co-operation with the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) to improve KSF's readiness for crisis management operations, civil protection and emergency responses.
Since 1999, Turkish troops have supported KFOR missions and contributed to the development of KSF, with many Turkish production weapons at the KSF inventory.
In December 2024, the Kosovo government signed an agreement with the Turkish defence company MK for the creation of a factory for producing various calibre ammunition, which is expected to begin soon.
