Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama's Strategic Investments Committee has approved strategic investor status for Jared Kouchner's 1.4 billion-euro project, American President Donald Trump's donor.
It is expected to build luxury resorts on Albania's Saban island.
A2 CNN reports that in the committee's decision, “The investment project meets the employment criteria required by legislation for strategic investments”.
It also suggests that tourist resorts will be built on an area of 45 hectares of land, as well as predict the improvement and repair of the current navy in Saban.
In the decision, it is also explained that the state of Albania will be co-operative in investment.
In this regard, Prime Minister Edi Rama had spoken long ago, criticising critics who erupted shortly after this news.
