Donald Trump had ordered 25% tariffs for all Colombian goods after his president banned two US military expulsion flights from landing on Sunday, the BBC reported, broadcast the signal.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro had initially responded, saying his country would accept repatriated citizens to civilian “avions, without treating them as criminals”.
A White House statement says Colombia has now agreed to accept immigrants arriving with US military aircraft “without restrictions or delay”.
Colombia said a dialogue would be maintained to replace the dignity of our citizens”.
