Two trams crashed into a tunnel in the eastern French town of Strasbourg on Saturday, wounding at least 20 people, authorities said.
“Twenty persons” are injured, a Prefecture spokesman said, citing a preliminary assessment. He added that the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
A large security perimeter was set before the station, where numerous ambulances are positioned, according to an AFP journalist at the scene.
