“Montenegrin authorities will examine all options to prevent further arms-related incidents, including gun bans nationwide, after a man allegedly attacked by firearms in the town of Cetinje on Wednesday killed at least 12 people and seriously injured four others“, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic was quoted as saying, reports Euronews.
“At the National Security Council meeting, we will urgently consider all options, including the complete ban on possession of weapons“, he said.
“Guns cannot be on the street and in the hands of those who can hurt others. I will ask our security leaders to offer concrete solutions tomorrow for the safety of our citizens.“, Spajic added.
Police identified the killer as 45-year-old Aco Martinovic.
