Kosovo has marked a deep deterioration in trade balance during December 2024, according to data published by the Kosovo Statistics Agency. The trade deficit has reached a historic record of 561m euros, increasing by 17.5% compared to the same month of the preliminary year.
The data from Kosovo's Foreign Trade and Goods shows a 17.5% trade deficit in December 2024, in proportion to the same period in 2023, worth 561.5m euros compared to the deficit 477.7m euros in 2023. Export covers import (11.0%)”, the AKS report said.
