Witness Hansjeorg Stromeyer, former judicial adviser of UNMIK, said Monday in The Hague that although it was no matter marking the incidents, he has seen such things during his mission to Kosovo.

“Yes, but in the same disorder or sporadical way as reported. We concluded that they were Serb couples leaving. After 20 minutes on our way back to a place where we had seen this couple burned. We stopped and talked to those people, the couple, and they told us that someone had put cocktails in that building and in cars, burning them up, and these were Serbs who wanted to leave”, he said.
He even said he was informed of personal threats to non-Albanians.
I don't know if there were any other things, but we were also informed of personal threats to persons who were non-Albanian”, Stromeyer said.
He said it was not his role to mark such incidents but since his position there were interactions and he had the opportunity to see these things. He also added that there were constant tensions.
On the other hand, Stromeyer said that from a meeting at the Hotel “Grand” there was an ambition for the establishment of the Kosovo Interim Government.
