KKP member Arian Gashi asked why there is a imbalance among the subjects committed by several prosecutors, saying some of them have accomplished only half of the materials they have at work, and some of them double, since P The SRK has been added to nine new prosecutors.
For this, Deputy Prosecutor Gashi responded by saying young prosecutors have started working in June last year and have committed themselves to investigating single-source contracts.
According to him, 1,000 and 600 single-source contracts are being investigated, for which he said there is no information and they have to be analyzed, which he said were activated and are waiting for information from the police.
He has said these cases have created this disbalancing among prosecutors, reports “Justice Trust”.
Gashi announced that the Special Prosecution, in 2024, carried 1,000 and 757 materials from 2023, and 489 new materials were accepted. He said 288 subjects, or 58.9, were selected in 2024.
Gashi said in 2023 the performance job is higher, but in 2024 more challenges have been faced, such as changing the law for The PSRK, as has several positions for officials that were earlier in the Foundation.
Chief State Prosecutor Besim Kelmendi said that data on the percentage of the rate conducted by prosecutors is missing in this report. He added that he cheered P The SRK for work, but talked about the efficiency of the new prosecutors, what he said could be better by suggesting that discussions be held with these prosecutors.
Gashi said he believes prosecutors will show efficiency in 2025.
The deputy chief prosecutor was asked even if there is an indictment for money laundering, for which he said there are indictments and condemnations, but currently are not in the report but it can be fulfilled.
He also spoke of the law on expanded competencies, where he said it applies in all the estimates.
Regarding the holidays of investigations in cases involving current government ministers, Gashi said that their names are insignificant, and that cases are dealt impartially, adding that this response was provided by Chief Prosecutor Blerim Isufaj after the question was presented at the annual conference.
With the recommendation that the report be met within a week with supplementing reports and the work of all prosecutors, on 10 votes for the Special Prosecutor's Report approved.
