The SPAK closed investigations into Edi Rama's brother, Albanian prime minister reacts: Used as meat for a ball to hit me

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the SPAK closed verifications to his brother Olsi Rama following Gazment Bardhit's confirmation of involvement in the cocaine laboratory in Xibraca. In his message Rama stressed that during this time, he has been silent on public charges against his brother pending a word of justice. He adds that justice already spoke with evidence of baseless accusations.

Dear fellow citizens, last year MP Gazment Bardi made an extreme accusation against my brother Olsi Rama. He denounced it, judged and condemned it in public as a drug dealer, creating the typical circumstances of a false connoisseur. That file also referred to an unidentified person who was not found by the prosecution. According to this gentleman, this dog is my brother. According to him, the two prosecutors and the file had hidden the brother's identity in exchange for my (GTK1) favour, Rama said.

I haven't been explained yet, I've been patient. I didn't want to speak with my conviction before justice spoke. Finally, after asking everyone he saw fit. The SPAK said it has come to the conclusion that Olsi Rama has no connection with the unidentified person and there is no evidence to connect my brother to criminal activity. With fact and no conjecture, it's four percent clear, my brother was used as a meat for a ball to hit me in front of public opinion. This is not the first blow of this kind for me, as if it were the last”, Rama said.
