Robbery at a microfinance body in Pristina, police arrest one of the thieves a few minutes after the case.

Police spokeswoman for the Pristina region Flora Ahmeti has confirmed the news.

“At around 12:30 today, a robbery occurred at a microfinance body on the “Enver Maloku” street in Pristina. After receiving information, police have appeared at the scene and based on the first information, allegedly two people suspected of being threatened by weapons have robbed a sum of”, Ahmeti suggested.

On the other hand, Ahmeti has said police have decided to arrest one of the suspects only minutes after reporting the case.

According to police, the same persons are suspected to be involved in the armed robbery that occurred on January 17th 2025, on the “Agim Ramadani” road in Pristina.

The high-speed reaction of officials from the General Investigation Unit, operating under the Regional Police Directorate in Pristina, has resulted in the arrest of one of the suspected persons just minutes after reporting the case. The suspected person is currently being interviewed, while investigators are looking for the second person, whom they have already identified. The same persons are allegedly involved in the armed robbery that occurred on January 17th 2025, on the “Agim Ramadani” in Pristina”, Ahmeti has said.
