There has been a party in Stuttgart that is not the Vetevendosje Movement... The Democratic Party of Kosovo is behind the biggest meeting it has organised in Stuttgart”, Cani said in Debat Plus.
He explained that falling support for Vetevendosje relates to the fact that other political parties have taken the diaspora more seriously, meaning its importance in the election processes.
I've been to Koln, I've been at the gatherings that were held by the Vetevendosje Movement, they're incredibly interesting gatherings, they're more of a show-load, but no longer the support that's been around four years ago just the concentration of a party. Why has this happened? We can explain it a little bit, because four years ago, other parties have neglected the exile. I've added this question to political parties as a journalist, and those acne thought that the exile has accomplished its work and service in the years and years of the 1990s until the declaration of independence and we have to leave it alone. But it seems that some political parties have realized before other parties how real the Corps of people is here to vote from here”, Cani added.
Meanwhile, the Central Election Commission (KQZ) has indicated that the voting period through mail for citizens outside Kosovo has started on January 9th and will last until February 8th 2025.
Out of a total of 104,924 registered voters abroad, 84,525 will submit their votes via mail. For those registered to vote in Kosovo embassies and consulates, the vote will take place on February 8th, 2025.
