Pristina Mayor Progress Rama has reacted after a building in the sector “Emshire” was involved in the fire.
Rama said he felt relieved that there were no victims, as well as expressed gratitude to the fire, police and emergency teams.
He said his association with the residents of this capital neighbourhood.
“associated with neighborhood residents “Emshire” behind the fire that included some of the dwellings. I am extremely relieved that there were no victims and I express my deepest gratitude to fire crews, police and emergency, who, with their rapid response and high professionalism, saved the lives of citizens. Together with Security and Emergency Director Lulzim Fushtica, we were at the scene to look closely and assess the needs of residents and the efforts of teams engaged in the field. Their professionalism and humanity remain an example for all of us”.
A special thanks also goes to fire crews from Lipjan, Drenas and Fushe Kosova, who showed extraordinary solidarity and commitment by coming to the aid of their colleagues. We will continue to stay close to citizens and make sure that the assistance and support necessary are guaranteed for all those affected by this disaster”, Rama wrote on Facebook.
