Rama: state of Bektash does not violate territorial sovereignty

Consolation for the life-sharing of Archbishop Anastas Yanulatos was the opening of the speech Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, held at the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Albania's World Chief Constitution of Bektas.

Allow me to join in expressing regret over the life of Archbishop Anastas Yanulatos and wishing to rest in peace, convey my condolences to all his associates and members of the community of Orthodox believers”

Friends who had invited him to this anniversary promised the State's establishment Bektash, guaranteeing any sceptic that the special status of the U.S. headquarters does not violate territorial sovereignty at all.

“Bektas' history is in itself the imposing call to give the headquarters of the World ancestor, through a status similar to that of the Vatican, the power of an emblem that will not divide anyone who will not threaten anyone who will not question the territorial sovereignty, the territorial integrity of the Republic of Albania”, he said.

Rama also explained his reasons for admitting that idea.

It's a debt that we can know and should know as Albanian. I may not be able to do all the good things the Albanians want, but my name on the list of those who have hurt this country, I don't. Everyone should view it as the obligation not to let him die, but to ensure the continuation of life, the spirit conceived in the Bektas ' notebook written by Naim Frasher himself”, the Albanian prime minister said.

Bektas' top world ancestor, Haxhi Dede Edmond Brahimaj, named the day historic, as he thanked the Albanian government and Prime Minister Rama.

“The possible stabilisation of a Bektasian Order would be remembered by us not only as evidence but also the new factor for the harmony between our community and other communities in the world”, Father Monday said.

The establishment of this state will grant the Order Bektash sovereignty similar to the Vatican and will allow it to rule autonomously on religious and administrative issues. It will extend to a territory of 27 acres [27 ha], including the world's great - grandmother. For this new state within Albania to be realised, it must receive approval from parliament. Leaders of other religious communities in Albania also attended the ceremony.
