The young man is in critical condition at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, with an amputated hand and severe body burns, Klankosova reports.
According to family members, he can be transferred today for specialised treatment in Turkey.
The explosion, allegedly caused by the accidental lighting of a pirotechnic device on display, has also seriously damaged its surroundings.
Citizens initially thought it was an earthquake, but later it was seen to be an explosion by fireworks.
