According to the latest data by Henley Passport Index, Singapore is the world's leader for the most powerful passports for 2025. Singapore's passport offers the opportunity to travel visa-free to 195 states, thus saving the first place for the sixth year in a row.
Japan and Finland's passports also stand at high levels, providing visa-free travel opportunities in 193 countries, positioning second and third, respectively. Also, passports from many European states, such as Germany, France, Italy and Spain, offer similar opportunities for easy travel internationally.
In this index, Albania ranks 43rd. With the Albanian passport, it could travel visa-free to 123 countries in the world, writes A2 CNN. Even though Albania was established with 5 positions from a year ago, the number of states where it can travel without visas with Albanian passports has not changed.
Kosovo ranks 63rd for 2025, as its citizens can travel visa-free to 80 different countries in the world. Compared to a year ago, Kosovo has also been raised to 5 countries in the ranking, while it has been added to six states where citizens who have its passport can travel without visas.
In the global rankings, many other European states, including Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark, have also been ranked in strong positions, providing rich opportunities for their citizens to travel without restrictions.
