The deputy director of the Kosovo Police in the north, Veton Elshani, confirmed to Telegrafi the case, saying the camera monitored the public part, respectively, the Mitrovica-Leposaviq magistrate.
“Day in Leposaviq, police have removed a camera that monitored the public part, respectively, the Mitrovica-Leposaviq magistrate. Following consultation with the prosecutor today is the opening case of unauthorised recording there are no arrested persons, while this is the third hidden hidden camera monitoring public locations”, he stressed.
On the other hand, he added that the other two illegal cameras were in northern Mitrovica, which also left last year.
The security connoisseur, Avni Islami, has reacted to the illegal camera being removed.
Islam has written on Facebook that the illegal camera served Serbia's security facilities.
“An illegal camera, which served Serbia's security facilities to monitor road crossroads and which was installed by parallel structures has been discovered and disabled by Kosovo Police in Leposaviq. The camera was located in the electricity unit -- this shows the sad situation in which the Serbian state is found today -- always with the clear goal of destabilizing Kosovo and the” region, he has stated.
Islam has stressed that “Professionalism and the accuracy of Kosovo security institutions is admirable”.
