Police with operational plans for election day

Kosovo police, based on the country's positive laws and authorisations as the key agency for public security on the entire territory of the country, have drafted the operational police order over time and made all its police planning regarding “The elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo”, which will be held on February 9th 2025.
In order to provide security and governance for the election process is meant to engage a sufficient number of mostly public order police officials, but according to the need police officials of different profiles, belonging to different units within the Kosovo Police.
This operational plan has preceded four stages:

According to police planning, the purpose of this operational order for this election process is:
Kosovo police, based on the memorandum of co-operation between the Police, Prosecutor and the CEC, have appointed officials/investigators to all regional directorates for handling any possible case linked to the election process, under the authorisation of prosecutors scheduled for the case by the State Prosecutor.
Police co-ordinators with the CEC have also been appointed, as well as guidelines for police officials regarding their legal duties and responsibilities during the election process.
Kosovo's “Police remain committed to accomplishing its legal duties and responsibilities professionally confronting citizens and the country, as well as being transparent on its police work and commitments.
We encourage all citizens to co-operate with the Kosovo Police and competent institutions, once reporting on any illegal cases that connect with security and electoral process, or even outside of them”, the report says.
