Kosovo police on 24 January 2025 stopped a vehicle in Pristina, where they found empty documents of various states of the world. The driver with initials (F.K.) was arrested and assigned to the 30-day detention measure. Following intense investigations, a house in Pristina was discovered that served as a sophisticated laboratory for producing forged documents, such as passports, ID cards and driver's license. Relevant evidence, laser cars, printers, over 20,000 microchips and thousands of documents from 51 different countries in the world were seized. This case is being investigated as “falsification of documents” and “Organised reward” by the Special Prosecutor. Kosovo police remain engaged in fighting organised crime.
