Kosovo police have closed an object in the north of the country allegedly operating Serbia's parallel structures, as a tax office, which was the branch of Serbia's Finance Ministry.
Deputy Police Director for the north region Veton Elshani said the people who have been there have fled, but that there have been no arrests.
We've entered this building, which, according to our information, worked as a tax office (as a branch of the Ministry of Finance of Serbia). In this country we have encountered evidence proving our suspicion and after consultation with the prosecutor, the people who are facing them are far away from that place and that building has been shut down until the complete verification of”, Elshani told Express.
Elshani said the case is opened and investigated as counterfeiting documents.
