Printing has begun for parliamentary elections in Kosovo, which will be held on February nine, 2025.
The CEC through an announcement has suggested that the ballots are being printed in the printery of high-security documents, “Cetis”, in Celje, Slovenia.
According to the spokesman, Valmir Elezi, “this process is under international standards” and under the supervision of a delegation led by Kreshnik Radoniqi.
He has also suggested that brochures with candidate lists are being printed.
CEC has made the decision to be printed for elections 1,752,650 ballot papers, of which 1,664,100 for voting in regular polling; 28,450 for parole vote; 38,650 for voting of persons with special needs and as reserve ballots; and 21,450 for voting in diplomatic representation.
Based on the voter list certified by the Central Election Commission, the number of Kosovo citizens is 2,075,868 voters, of whom 1,970,944 voters belong to the Voter List within Kosovo, and 104,924 voters are part of the Vote List outside Kosovo.
