Paparacy: Kurt Councilman included in KEK's 37 million corrupt relatives

Prime Minister Albin Kurti's foreign adviser, noble Korenica, has been mentioned several times in the Special Prosecutor's File concerning the 37m-euro corrupt relationship at the Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK).

The name of Kurti's adviser, who is also engaged as a lawyer associated with Jurdik, noble Kornica is mentioned by Nagip Krasniqi, former KEK director in his testimony to special prosecutors in connection with lawyer Isuf Zejna's commitment as legal consultant for KEK. All of this is part of the largest corrupt relatives in which the former KEK chief is involved.

Citing Kurti's adviser's name as involved in the KEK tender corrupts relative, which was run by Nagip Krasniqi, currently in charge of two counts by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, does not end only as a recommendation of names for positions.

Corenica, who is known in public as an intellectual figure of civil society in the field of law, is “-ex1>, by his wife, who works at the ombudsman institution.

In the wealth declaration, she points out that her husband is a 100 - percent shareholder in an energy company.

Fifty percent belonged to Bardhil Hasanpaj, a close man of Vjosa Osmani president of Kosovo.

Currently, the Business Record Agency owns 100 percent of this company is Bardhil Hasanpay.

His 2023 property statement by his wife Anita Cavdarbasha-Krenica has revealed that Kurt's adviser was involved in the field of electricity through a company he owned in part until 2023.

His wife, as the deputy occupants of the people, had declared that her husband, Korenica, had a 50 percent stake in society with limited responsibility, “Smart Energy and Infrastructure”.

She had declared that the registration date of Kurt's Council Company was July 16, 2021, and that same day was the date for the profit.

After declaring his wealth by Corenicw's wife, this company is carrying him, Bardhil Hasanpaj, who owns 100 percent of the capital.

Authorised representative of this business is Ardian Kacanik, who holds the position of managing director, says the Kosovo Business Recording Agency's data.

As main task of “Smart Energy and Infrastructure” is advice for business and other advice for management.

The secondary activity has electricity production, while other activities include transmission and distribution of electricity.

The company's other activities are electricity trade.

For three years, three dwellings

In announcing the wealth of Koranica's wife, the couple have been buying three residences for three years. The 90 square - foot [90 sq m] residence purchased in 2018 was worth 95 thousand euros and is declared a common one.

Two other residences are purchased in the 1920 ' s and 2022. Both are owned by the Korean noble, according to his wife's statement of wealth.

The 72,80 square feet [72,80 sq m] residence was purchased in 2021 and was worth 360,000 euros.

A year later, residences were purchased by 850 square metres through the contract, a monthly tranche of investment. The value was 21 thousand and 663 euros.

Commitment in Kurt's Government

Professor Korenica is also engaged as adviser to Prime Minister Albin Kurti for dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

It is paid by an international project, and its salary for this commitment is 2 thousand and 137 euros per month.

Corenica was photographed alongside Kurt and senior government officials, who are seen lunching.

The former KEK chief chief, in his testimony to special prosecutors, has stated that the recommendation for the commitment of Isuf Zamen's legal studio for legal consultancy was taken from his noble “Korenica and from the EU”.

Korenica, an associate professor of the Faculty of Jurydic of the University of Pristina, is co-founder of the Group for Jury and Political Studies (GLPS), a civil society organisation.

The organisation's co-founder, Dren Dolly, was named Kosovo's ambassador to the Netherlands in early January 2022, with the proposal of the government led by the Vetevendosje Movement.

Both Krasniqi and Zeynep are charged by the Special Prosecutor for misuse of the official position or authority for the contract between KEK and legal studio “Rexepi Zeqiri Zejra L. L. C”, worth 60 thousand euros.

According to the Special Prosecutor's Act, Krasniqi had consulted in advance with Isuf Zamen for the contract they would later link.

Krasniqi allegedly had urged the chief of procurement at KEK to initiate the negotiated procurement procedure for the consultant's commitment to legal consultations, even though, in the declaration of the needs and determination of the funds' availability, it was not a priority, defining it as the only operator “Rejep Zeqiri L. L.C.”

According to the prosecution, the legal studio owned by Zeynep in advance in an open procurement procedure was declared irresponsible.

With this, they are charged that in co-ordination they committed criminal work “Using official position or authority” by Article 414, paragraph 2 concerning paragraph 1 concerning Article 31 of the Criminal Code.

In his statements given to the prosecutor by August 29th and 30th 2023, defendant Nagip Krasniqi has stated that “recommunica's commitment to Isuf Zeynep had received it from the EU and from his noble friend Korenica”.

Krasniqi has said that communications he developed with lawyer Isuf Zana have not revealed any business secrets, nor has corporate interest been violated.

“In terms of document with the title legal consultancy services for the Kosovo Energy Corporation, it has stated that they can refer to potential arbitration cases and that it does not recall whether this document was drafted by the “Rejrepi Zeqiri Zeka LC”, it is said in the indictment.

Regarding e-mail communication, dated February 6th 2023 and March 3rd 2023, Krasniqi has declared that this communication has to do with international consultancy for rebuilding Kosovo A.

And for communicating with Isuf Zeynep via this “content I gave you instructions to do only the daily price, not that monthly limit”, “Talk to Ymerin”, stated that the purpose of this had been to pass the award to the Oda of Lawyers, and why it was locked up in this procurement process was due to lack of resources in KEK.
