Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has met with KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barjuni, within the ongoing commitment to strengthening the partnership with NATO.
On behalf of Kosovo citizens, Osmani expressed gratitude for the NATO mission in Kosovo, which has played a significant role for more than two decades for peace and stability.
According to the media report, at this meeting, Osman stressed that in view of security challenges, close co-operation and international partnership are needed to ensure peace and stability in the country, the region and wider.
On the other hand, the president stressed the importance of joint commitment to the protection of the values of peace and security, stressing that international cohesion is key to addressing global challenges.
At the invitation of Major General Bardonini, work lunch was held at KFOR headquarters.
“Meeting with Major General Bardoni is part of President Osmani's permanent commitment to strengthening relations with international partners and promoting security and stability as the precondition for Kosovo and the region's” development, the statement said further.
