During the meeting, President Osmani has reportedly expressed gratitude for the continued support of the United Kingdom towards Kosovo, as well as for the essential role in the statehood process.
Osmani and Hargrees, discussions focused on close bilateral co-operation in the field of security and defence, praising continued support of the United Kingdom in institutional reforms and promotion of rule of law, to President Osmani thanked the United Kingdom for its continued support in the field of defence.
Furthermore, Osmani reportedly laid out the need to raise the level of strategic co-operation in this area as a step towards Kosovo's preparation for NATO membership.
Osmani thanked the United Kingdom for the Chevening Stock Exchange programme and discussed possibilities for expanding educational and cultural exchanges, as well as for strengthening partnerships in these areas.
“President Osmani stressed the importance of bilateral co-operation in addressing challenges and advancing common aspirations, displaying readiness for further deepening of relations between the two countries in all areas of”, the Presidency's announcement reported.
