The president's office, Vjosa Osmani, reports that based on constitutional and legal competencies, the president has signed tonight the decree with which convict Arza Calcoli, for humanitarian reasons, has been pardoned the remainder of the sentence, following review of the Commission's proposal for pardon and in line with legal procedures.
The report says that the <x0ved was taken because of the extraordinary circumstances, because the condemned child was born during the suffering of the sentence and is located at the Lipjan Women's Correcting Centre, along with her baby”.
“In making the decision for forgiveness, other factors have been taken into account, including the fact that the convict has not committed a single crime earlier, the criminal offense for which he was convicted is about the threat of public trafficking, so there has been an accident accidentally, and it has already proved to have not been influenced by alcohol or other substances when the accident occurred. In addition, the health challenges of the mother and child” are taken into account, the communique says.
According to the announcement, the convicted one year and two months in prison were due to be regularly released from prison on September 14th of this year.

The Foundation Court in Ferizaj had sentenced her to 18 months in effective prison, accused of risking public traffic, which resulted in her two friends E.I. and E.M. having lost their lives as a result. She was guilty.
