He said 26 years ago, on the evening of January 11th of freedom year, Enver Maloku was shot near his residence on the Sun Coast in Pristina.
On that day, a self - sacrificing journalist, a dreamer of freedom, a rare and unique intellectual, was interrupted by a writer, rock, the cultural spirit of our society. The model patriot of the heavier hours and the carrier of the information window in the largest national movement for freedom, independence and democracy was killed at the age of 45.
With the Maloku family at the LDK Central Headquarters, where the names of those who built Kosovo's foundations, to remember and honour his work and heritage in the national movement for freedom, independence and democracy”, he wrote.
Abdixhiku added that the ideals Enver Maloku remain alive.
“Today we remember not only the man who gave everything for Kosovo but also his ideals that remain alive to guide us in building the future. Enver Maloku was not only a prominent journalist and activist of the Democratic League and of the national freedom movement; he was an inspiration to generations who believe in freedom of speech, in the power of speech, and in the duty of each of us to defend the nation's values. Praise the life and work of Enver Malokut!”, he said.
