Obadiah brings telegrams of comfort to the Berisha family: Anton's contribution to diplomacy, not only will an important legacy remain

The honoured “Berisha family,

We were deeply touched by the news of our friend, Ambassador Anton Berisha,'s premature loss.

His contribution to diplomacy will not only remain an important legacy for all political and social life. His devotion as Kosovo's diplomat and ambassador, as well as his role in the national movement and foreign services, remains an inspiring example of his professionalism and commitment to the country.

Anton Berisha made an extraordinary contribution to Kosovo's political and diplomatic life since 1990, where he was authorised by Historical President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova for specific diplomatic missions. As the first generation of ambassadors, Berisha served as Kosovo's first ambassador to Slovenia, helping Kosovo integrate the international scene. And then as deputy minister of foreign affairs, diplomatic adviser to the prime minister and as a contact diplomatic person at the Holy See.

In addition to diplomatic commitments, Mr. Berisha was also the LDK candidate for deputy in the Kosovo Assembly. His contribution to the Democratic League of Kosovo was unique. Finally, he also engaged in our department of foreign policy and diplomacy.

Loss of activities Anton Berisha is also a deep loss for our diplomatic body and Kosovo's foreign service, where he served and contributed to decades of devotion and professionalism.

In my personal name and the entire Democratic League of Kosovo, I express my sincere condolences to the Berisha family, friends and the entire diplomatic community. Remembering him will remain unforgettable!
